The most awaited feature of Messenger is now here! Group Video Chat is now available to Android and iOS devices, and the desktop version of Messenger, WORLDWIDE.

Group Video Chat is simple and easy to use. It enables the user to see six people at once. But, if your group is somehow more than six, you can still have a group chat up to 50 people. However, the latest feature only allows six people to be seen. Once more than six people are on the call, just the dominant speaker is shown to all participants. Follow these steps and try out this new feature.

  1. Update your Messenger app – Make sure it is the latest version
  2. Tap on the video icon – Upper right of the screen
  3. Everyone in the group can join by tapping the green button
  4. For an extra nudge, you can also directly ring just a few people or the whole group.

Try it now with your friends!
