The video, titled “May We Haveth One’s Attention? A British Period Original Drama” aims to transform the conventional safety briefing into a captivating experience by blending modern-day flight safety with a 19th-century setting. Passengers are treated to a visually stunning presentation where contemporary flight crew members interact with characters from a bygone era. A video highlight includes a comedic scene where a character is astonished by modern technology such as phones and laptops.

Inside the Production
The video is directed by Sharon Maguire, who is known for blending British humor with audience engagement. It also features costumes designed by three-time Oscar winner Jenny Beavan, whose detailed period attire designs enhanced the short video's historical authenticity. Filming took place at several iconic British country estates, including Hatfield House and Englefield House Estate, further immersing viewers in the historical context.
Over 40 British Airways staff members, including pilots, cabin crew, engineers, and airport colleagues, are enlisted in the production. The aim is not only to deliver essential safety information but also to keep passengers entertained and engaged.
